Vera Wang has created a unique aspirational world filled with sensuality and youthful sophistication. Exquisite details, intricate draping and a nonchalant sense of style characterize the Vera Wang aesthetic.

Vera Wang, a native New Yorker, understands women who embrace fashion. As a child, she accompanied her mother as she shopped Parisian and American couture. Vera studied at Chapin, Sarah Lawrence College and The Sorbonne. By age 23, Vera was the youngest ever Vogue fashion editor and stylist where she remained for 16 years before moving to Ralph Lauren as a design director. In 1990, Vera Wang opened her flagship store on Manhattan’s famed Madison Avenue, introducing fashion to the bridal industry with revolutionary designs and refined detailing. Since then she has expanded her collections to include ready-to-wear, evening wear, intimate apparel, fur, footwear, eyewear, fragrance, china and crystal, silver and gifts, fine papers, fine jewelry and her first book, Vera Wang On Weddings.

From the cover of Vogue to the Oscars to the Olympics, the style of Vera Wang is embraced by many of the world’s most influential and fashionable women. These women continue to look to her for their most important events and public appearances. Such collaborations are a mark of Vera Wang’s couture designs, repeatedly drawing the attention and the praise of the press. The red carpet is unquestionably one of Vera Wang’s most important runways. In a little more than a decade, Vera Wang has become the authority on bridal elegance, her name synonymous with a modern sophisticated approach to classic style. Most recently, Vera Wang was honored at the 2005 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion awards, receiving one of the top honors: “Womenswear Designer of the Year.” Vera Wang resides in New York City with her husband and two daughters.

Rosa Clará entered the bridal sector almost 20 years ago, opening the firm's first wedding gown shop in Barcelona. It offered innovative designs created from the highest quality fabrics to a growing market niche that didn't identify with the products on sale at the time.

This new take on bridalwear revolutionised the sector and our own and franchised Rosa Clará shops soon sprang up throughout the rest of Spain and then the rest of the world.
The company reinforced its position and influence on the sector when, among other initiatives,it partnered with haut couture designers of the stature of Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld and Zuhair Murad, signing exclusive contracts to make and sell their bridalwear collections worldwide.

This decision, along with Rosa Clará's powerful brand image — reinforced by its role in opening Barcelona Bridal Week, one of the world's most prestigious bridalwear shows — and growing celebrity demand for its wedding gowns, boosted the group's brands and market position worldwide and paved the way for sales on all five continents through our own shops, franchises and multi-brand outlets.

Once well established in the bridalwear sector, Rosa Clará's next challenge was to provide brides and their guests with even more service. In response, in 2007 we created the Rosa Clará Cocktail cocktail dress collection which, along with our existing accessories ranges, met that demand.

Today, Rosa Clará has three centres in Spain — the group's new corporate head office on Calle Quatre Camins in Barcelona, the former head office and current logistics and production centre in Hospitalet de Llobregat, and the 5,000-m2 multi-purpose facility in Sant Just Desvern that acts as both product development and innovation centre and showroom for the new collections unveiled to representatives of the over 3,500 outlets in 86 countries who visit us each year.
